El Tour de Phoenix dedication recipient announced

Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, the Tucson based 501c(3) charity ride organization, has announced that RideClean Team member Dan McGehee is the 2009 dedication recipient of the El Tour de Phoenix. Dan is a 8-time 252 mile Cochise County Cycling Classic winner, a multiple 508 Furnace Creek winner, a veteran of team Race Across America, and a two-time Kona Ironman veteran. Dan currently holds the Ultra Marathon Cycling Association 100 mile Time Trial Road Record.

The El Tour de Phoenix ride takes place April 4th this year and is a perennial favorite, taking in some of the most picturesque Sonoran desert landscape as it winds its way to the finish in Mesa.
